The Penske 7000 series includes the 7150, 7300, 7500, and 7600 shocks.
The 7150 Series incorporated a 6064-T6 Stainless Steel body assembled to customer specification and available in the following sizes (by stroke) 7″, 8″ & 9″. All machined parts with provision for coil over kit, this shock is a consistent performer at a realistic price level that allows personalised tuning by the owner while meeting most demands required of a sealed control shock spec. The 7300 Series damper was designed to be simple and yet still offer the range of adjustability required by NASCAR at the Premier level of motor racing. Strong, reliable, tunability are its hallmarks.
The shock can be run as either a compression adjuster or rebound adjuster via the shaft, while the generous reservoir and head valve allows for consistent and optimal response times required even while running extremely low gas pressure. The Penske 7500 Series range was developed for the racing market catering to OEM requirements associated with road going vehicles as well as race cars using a quality aluminium product that is a cost effective solution.
Design features incorporate a separator piston, machined aluminium components, a chrome moly shaft, and the option of coil over or smooth body, which in turn has created Penske’s most versatile shock.
Available in many guises, non adjustable, single or double adjustable via either the main shaft or body cap adjuster access. We also have available a sealed version for control shock situations, truly a shock for all seasons. Build a quote using our web system or contact us below.
The 7600 Series damper takes its heritage from the 7500 concept and then goes a step further. Weight and size reduction allows for better packaging, however, it still retains heritage from the 7500 Series with gas separator, lightweight body, etc, but can also take a cockpit adjuster eyelet if desired.
